Kerry is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist in Ontario with nearly a decade in the field. She completed her training in 2010 at Western University in London, Ontario and earned her Master in Clinical Sciences in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) degree. Upon graduation, she earned her Clinical Certification with SAC (Speech-Language & Audiology Canada), the highest national professional standard. She is an Independent Authorizer with Ontario's Assistive Devices Program to help client's access funding to purchase communication aids.

Kerry values continuing education and has participated in a number of advanced training courses, certifications and learning conferences over the years, such as Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia, Compton P-ESL Accent Modification Method, and the Clinical Short Course in Cognitive-Communication Disorders (Level 1 and Level 2).

Her expansive skill set enables her to help individuals across the lifespan. She applies an evidence-based, functional, client-centered, compassionate approach in her work. Her clinical practice areas include: stroke, traumatic brain injury/concussion, and other acquired brain injuries; neurological (brain) conditions resulting from disease or cancer-related treatment; neurodegenerative disease; fluency (stuttering); voice; and swallowing. She is qualified to provide speech sound (articulation) therapy to both children and adults. With her training in Toastmasters, experience in a National Scholarship Pageant, and her work as an SLP, she is uniquely qualified to help teens, young adults, and adults enhance their general, social and professional communication skills.

She is a leader who collaborates, initiates, creates and innovates to help others while spreading awareness about the profession of SLP. She initiated facilitation of Caregiver Education Communication Workshops with the Alzheimer Society of London & Middlesex, as well as voice training groups in partnership with the Parkinson's Society of Southwestern Ontario. She is proud to be selected as the provincial association (OSLA) Auto Insurance/Motor Vehicle Collision Interest Group Leader, as well as the sole SLP representative on the provincial Coalition of Health Professional Associations in Ontario
Automobile Insurance Services.
